'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane dampens on Premier League return
Kane celebrates his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has stated that his enthusiasm in going back to the Premier League has diminished and he is willing to explore a new contract with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is presently midway through the four-year deal he inked when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the offseason of 2023.
The experienced forward has scored an remarkable 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German team, playing a key role in them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which marked the maiden important achievement of his notable career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has earlier expressed that he would welcome to see Kane go back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England captain has now suggested that he is no longer as enthusiastic about returning home as he previously was, and would definitely think about prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.
"In terms of staying longer, I could absolutely see that," he stated.
"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be willing to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so progresses and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have learned in my career is that different chances and different timings happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top scorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five leagues, reaching the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a honor had escaped him until he lifted the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would respond after overcoming his trophy barren spell, but now believes it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.
"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
